Harold James “Jim” Nicholson, a 16-year veteran of the CIA, was sentenced to more than 23 years in prison in 1997 for espionage – but he kept up the treason from behind bars, enlisting his adult son to liaise with the Russians on the outside. Nicholson was convicted for a second time, but he’s walking free this month. Sheila Flynn asks: What will the double agent do next?
